Message From The Principal
Dear ELC & Lower School Parents,
The excitement continues to build as we wrap up August and enter the “-ber months.” With September 1 marking the unofficial beginning of the Christmas season here in the Philippines, both the ELC and LS will soon shift their attention toward this year’s Christmas Productions.
A big round of applause to all the Grades 3–5 students who auditioned for the LS Christmas Production! The directors will begin their deliberations, and the cast list will be announced in the coming days. Formal auditions for the ELC Christmas Production have also begun as teachers select actors, singers, and dancers for the show.
Student Council elections are in full swing! Campaign posters are now on display in classrooms. Candidates will present their speeches on Thursday, September 3, and students will vote for their Class Representatives on Friday, September 4. Giveaways and treats are not permitted.
Registration for after-school clubs will close at 8:00 pm today. The Activities Office is processing all applications and will announce each student’s approved club by the end of next week. After-school clubs will begin on Monday, September 7.
Our Grade 4 and 5 Camp Activity Days will take place on September 10 and 11. There will be no formal classes for our Grade 4 and 5 students. Instead, they will participate in team-building activities designed to challenge their thinking skills and foster camaraderie. Homeroom teachers will provide specific guidelines regarding what students should wear and bring.
Finally, Spirit Week 2026 is coming! From September 21 to 25, Brent students will have the opportunity to dress up, show their school spirit, and earn points for their Houses. This year’s themes are:

Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Students who do not wish to dress up must wear their regular school uniform.
- Students must wear proper shoes each day. Flip-flops and Crocs are not permitted.
- Students who have PE should bring their PE uniforms to change into.
- Weapons and props that could be used as weapons or cause injury are not permitted.
It is going to be a fun and exciting September! We can’t wait!
With Monday being a holiday, we wish all our Lower School families a happy, safe, and restful long weekend!
Warm regards,

Lenore Baldwin
Lower School Principal
