Welcome to the Guidance Office Page

We have three full-time Guidance Counselors in the Upper School. One counselor is dedicated to servicing all of the 9th and 10th grade students. 11th and 12th grade students are asigned one of the other two counselors based on their surname. All counselors are responsible for academic, socio-emotional and career counseling, while the 11th and 12th grade counselors will focus on college/university guidance and planning.

It is important to get to know your counselor and to allow your counselor to get to know you. Even if you don’t have anything you necessarily want to speak to a counselor about, it is a good idea to stop by on a regular basis to chat.

We are here to help you as you make your decisions about higher education and hope you will stop by frequently so that we can work effectively together!

The Guidance Office Mission Statement

Our comprehensive school guidance program is predicated on the belief that all students are unique and dynamic individuals, capable of becoming responsive and productive adults, engaged in life-long learning.

The Guidance Program aims to provide students, teachers, parents, administrators, and other members of the school community, with services/programs that are aligned with the school’s philosophy as summarized in the Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLR’s).
