Message From The Principal
Dear ELC & Lower School Parents,
What a fantastic three days of performances of the Middle School production, Matilda JR.! Congratulations to the cast, crew, and everyone who helped bring the show to life. Thank you to all who came to watch and support our students.
Our UN Day celebration is next week! We look forward to welcoming parents on Thursday, October 29, for our UN Day Program and Parade.
The program will begin in Gym 1 at 8:55 a.m. Please be seated by 8:50 a.m. After the program, we will head to the track for the parade, weather permitting, and end at approximately 9:45 a.m.
Students should wear their national costume or that of another country of their choice. Please see the parade route below for your reference.
Later in the day, students will explore different cultures at the Cultural Fair. Thank you to our PTA for all their hard work in bringing this event together!
Preparations are also underway for our Lower School and ELC Christmas productions!
Our Lower School students will present “Straight Outta Bethlehem.” Costume letters have been sent home to parents of students in Grades 3–5. Please send in the basic elements of your child’s choir costume on or before Friday, November 13.
Our ELC students will present “Peanut Butter Christmas.” Costume letters will be sent home soon. As in previous years, costume costs will be charged to students’ Lion ID accounts. The letters will also outline the few items families will need to provide from home.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to sharing these special celebrations with you!

Parents of students in Grades 3–5 who wish to receive their First Holy Communion this year are invited to review the attached invitation letter and complete and submit the reply slip as directed. If you have any questions, please contact our school chaplain at chaplain@brent.edu.ph.

KIDISMS

Booklatan Sparked My Imagination!
Principal: What was your favorite part of Booklatan with Ms. Rodriguez?
Student: Meeting a real author! I want to write a book now, too.
Principal: What will your book be about?
Student: A kid who never has homework.
Principal: That sounds like fiction.
Student: Exactly! Ms. Rodriguez inspired me to use my imagination!
