Way to go, Huaye “Wyett” Zeng and Marcie Grace Que!

Way to go, Huaye “Wyett” Zeng (gr. 12) and Marcie Grace Que (gr. 10) for a great representation of Brent Pride at the recently held Frontiers and Innovations in Teaching (FIT) Conference, an education conference for educators and school leaders in the Philippines.

Wyett and Grace shared about collaboration at Brent and the values they have developed–respect for one another, being tolerant individuals, and doing simple acts of kindness. They shared how these values have led them to be of service to others through activities such as Tech for Teaching, Forward and Say Grace.

Brent educates the whole child towards the fulfillment of a life well-lived. As a Pride, Brent’s ESLRs strengthen us. Thank you, Wyett and Grace, for being examples of this!

Green Earth Ambassadors (GEA) and Global Issues Network (GIN) Clubs

The Green Earth Ambassadors (GEA) and the Global Issues Network (GIN) clubs recently went on a beach clean up field trip to Batangas beach. They had the opportunity to learn about the ongoing efforts to preserve nature in those areas. They also helped clean up the front bay of the resort. Great work, Lions!

If you wish to join in such activities to preserve the environment or know more about such global issues, please join the GEA or GIN club next school year! Club advisors are Mrs. Britton, Dr. Baldwin and Mr. Michaelsen.
