Congratulations APAC Theatre and APAC Band for a great representation of Brent Pride!

APAC Theatre traveled to Hong Kong International School. Throughout the conference, the APAC Theatre students learned the Meisner technique of acting with guest directors from Los Angeles, California: Erika McKiel and Tippi Thomas. Brent students rehearsed monologues and duets with students from other APAC schools. On the last night, all students performed beautiful pieces that showcased their artistry, creativity, and learnings from the conference. The overall experience from this APAC trip will surely be one they will remember for the rest of their lives.
APAC Band traveled to Canadian Academy, Japan. After months of diligent practice, 16 musicians from Brent had the opportunity to collaborate with five other schools under the baton of Dr. Arris Golden of Michigan State University. The conference was filled with sectional and full rehearsals to prepare students for a performance of challenging and demanding musical repertoire. Philip Carlson was successful in securing a trumpet solo after winning the required audition. Saturday evening’s concert was supported by five Brent families and three alumni in the audience, and countless others from our Brent Family here at home who watched the livestream.
