Student Leadership
Student-led Councils across Brent’s Upper, Middle, and Lower Schools play an essential role in shaping Brent Pride. Through planning events and working collaboratively, councils provide students with opportunities to develop leadership skills in our service-oriented community. Brent’s student leaders strengthen friendships and grow in confidence, responsibility, and compassion—hallmarks of a true Brent Lion.
Varsity Council

The Varsity Council is dedicated to fostering school spirit and unity by organizing school-wide events that encourage support for athletics and fine arts. Through initiatives such as Spirit Week, Lunchtime Karaoke, Spike Night, Pack the House, Friday Night Lights, Pep Rallies, and the Christmas Countdown, Varsity Council brings the Lions community together in celebration. Members increase their public speaking skills by promoting and hosting events and get creative by designing digital materials and managing the Varsity Council’s Instagram page.
Executive Council

The Executive Council plans and leads the All-Council Workshops and Meetings that are held for new council members after they are elected, and at the start of their term when the new school year begins. Members promote collaboration between the student body, various councils, faculty, administrators, and the wider Brent community.
Senior Council

The Senior Council plays an important role in bringing the senior class together and strengthening batch unity in their final year at Brent. The council plans and leads meaningful activities such as batch bonding events, the Senior Video–played during Moving Up Day and Graduation, and community service projects that leave a lasting impact on both the school and the wider community. The Senior Council helps ensure that students enjoy a purposeful and unforgettable final year at Brent. Go seniors!
Junior Council

The Junior Council takes the lead in planning and executing one of Brent’s most anticipated events of the year–the annual International Food Fest. From brainstorming to designing, they ensure the event is not only a success for the Brent Family but also a meaningful bonding experience that unites the entire junior batch while raising funds for the Junior-Senior Prom.
Sophomore Council

The Sophomore Council plays a key role in uniting the batch and promoting school spirit. The council provides a supportive environment for connection and growth through Batch Bondings and fundraisers for the Junior-Senior Prom.
Freshman Council

The Freshman Council is the voice of the ninth-grade class, working to represent student interests and promote unity during their first year in high school. The council organizes fundraising events, bonding activities, and service projects that help students feel welcomed and connected.
Prom Committee

PROMCOM is the creative team that makes prom happen! PROMCOM raises funds, dreams up the theme, and plans all the details that turn prom night into something unforgettable. From the look and décor to the invitations and program, we make sure everything sparkles. We cheer on promposals, handle nominations and awards for Prom Royalty, and come up with activities that make the night extra special.
Middle School Council (Grades 6, 7, 8)

From organizing fundraisers and planning student-led events like the Christmas Social and the International Food Festival booth, to leading service initiatives through the Outreach Program, the Middle School Council helps students take an active role in shaping their school experience.
Lower School Council (Grades 3, 4, 5)

Whether running game booths at the International Food Festival, coordinating service projects like the Noodle Drive for the Biñan Community Christmas Charity, or writing letters to advocate for new recess activities, Lower School council members find meaningful ways to support both their peers and the wider community. The Lower School Student Council inspires students to lead with purpose and care.
