School Year 2016-2017

During this year, students will be provided with classroom guidance lessons, students goals, assemblies at beginning of each semester about organization, along with monthly assemblies about time management, stress, mindfulness, bullying and cyber bullying, self-esteem, friendship, drug awareness, transition to upper school, group counseling and individual counseling as needed.

I am very happy to introduce you our R.O.A.R.S Welcome Program. The R.O.A.R. Program has been designed to assist student with their new transition in the school. The R.O.A.R.S Program gives the new students a chance to meet a new friend. A friend that welcomes and cares for them. Moving to a new school can feel very scary; let us make this an easy transition for them. Welcome R.O.A.R.S

This year Mr. O’Hara, Mrs. Leighton and I will continue with the Parent Coffee Talks on different topics that concerns many parents.

As well, I will continue in charged of the Middle School Student Council along with Ms. Syra Chardon Perez.

We have already started off with a bang, concluding our overnight leadership retreat on August 19th and August 20th and making lots of plans for the upcoming school year.

The Student Council group are great students, full of energy and looking to make Brent the best school you can find! Middle School Student Council will continue meeting every Thursday at lunch.  Questions about Middle School Student Council can be addressed to me at the Middle Offices.

Also, I will be helping this year with the Middle School Production “Peter Pan Jr.” so we will be looking for volunteers in different areas of the play. I will be in charged of the middle school “Project Compassion” as a club, where students can join and interact as a tutor to the Holy Family Mission Students.

School Office and I will respond in a very short time. If interested in participating or assisting with a Peter Pan Jr. event, please send me an email and I will be happy to list you as a volunteer.

You are welcome to stop by my office anytime or you can email me at rrichards@brent.edu.ph and I will respond as soon as I am able. I am looking forward to see you!
